She's The Older Sister Of The Yandere Male Lead In A BL Novel - Chapter 6
“Is it because of [ Dawn of the Full Moon ]?”
“I was just asking, but what’s wrong?”
I inwardly groaned at Frey, who’d been deflecting the questions. There wasn’t anything strange.
But all his questions were all about the book.
It was like there’s an underlying meaning. I scratched my cheek awkwardly and shook my head.
If he knew something but wanted to hide it, I didn’t mean to pry.
To be honest, if Frey knew the extent of Lisandro’s evil deeds in the novel like I knew, he might dream of exacting revenge, and it couldn’t be helped.
Frey was a child who could do that.
He had enough capabilities to kill Lisandro.
Normally, anyone would wonder who would live between two people fighting to the death, but this was different.
Lisandro didn’t kill Frey, but he mutilated him hundreds of times.
His existence, his life, his family, his friends.
Even I think it would be ridiculous to give mercy to a perpetrator.
I had no intention of letting Lisandro die, seeing as he was growing up well, but at the same time, I didn’t want to stop Frey.
“Frey, what’s your dream?”
It was a question asked out of curiosity.
Because it wasn’t like Frey devoted his entire life after falling for Lisandro.
He could have had a dream that he couldn’t achieve.
“To let my beloved person live in peace without worrying about anything.”
Frey answered without hesitation.
I was so proud of him for having that dream that I patted his head without realizing.
When I asked Lisandro the same question…
“Cut up everyone except Noonim.”
He answered like this and sent me into a spiral. Only when I flinched did he change his words again.
“O-Okay! I’m kidding! My dream is to not let anyone disturb Noonim so you can live a peaceful life!”
It was as flimsy as a breeze, but not a dream, so I was moved to tears.
But I continued to look at him with some contempt like he was a thug.
I used to cry a lot because of Lisandro as he changed little by little.
I hated Lisandro, but…
Still, I’m glad he’s not a total idiot. Really.
Please don’t change your mind once you grow up.
Don’t let me hold onto your leg while crying and begging you not to bother Frey.
“What about you, Noona?”
“That Lisandro won’t turn into a crazy lunatic.”
I was more desperate about this than any other dream. But rather than a dream, it was more of a wish.
“Lisandro doesn’t seem reliable to you, then.”
Instead of answering, I laughed instead.
Frey gently fiddled with a lock of my hair and asked again.
“Noona really doesn’t have a dream other than that?”
I didn’t have a dream that I really wanted to achieve, even in my previous life.
In the past, my goal was to enter college, but now my goal was to rehabilitate Lisandro.
“I can’t think of anything yet.”
Frey smiled, his eyes curving up softly, then asked another question.
“Then what’s your ideal type?”
“The opposite of Lisandro.”
“…Yuni, that’s really your answer?”
Lisandro suddenly answered. He entered the library without letting anyone know, then looked at me with a hurt expression.
It looked like he ran here as soon as he finished his sword training, seeing as his face was flushed and his breathing was rough.
The ends of his white hair were drenched in sweat.
“You didn’t call me Noonim. I won’t talk to you.”
Lisandro stared at Frey as he scratched his head haphazardly.
“What are you doing? I was wondering where you were, but you skipped training to come here?”
At Frey’s innocent face, Lisandro couldn’t retort, then he stuttered.
“W-Why are you alone with Noonim? I told you you’re not allowed to be alone with her.”
Lisandro growled low, and the way he looked at Frey was strange.
That’s it, those eyes. Enmity towards Frey that I saw once.
It was so suspicious.
Because I was determined to rehabilitate Lisandro, I could see that his affection for Frey had decreased as though he was devoting himself to me.
But no matter how sudden my interference was, it’s a little confusing. I wondered if Lisandro was really this easy to rehabilitate when he was young.
I decided to test the waters.
“Isn’t it because you’re afraid that Frey likes me more than you do?”
He was dumbstruck.
This right here… This is a pretty good sign.
“Why would you say that?”
“A jealous man isn’t nice to be with.”
This time, it was a nail on the coffin. I clicked my tongue and shook my head. But Lisandro, who was astonished, shouted loudly and denied it.
“That’s not it!”
The strong denial made the corners of my lips twitch in amusement. Lisandro was changing.
At a fast pace.
The way I wished for.
“Right, Lisandro. Like Noona said, jealous men aren’t really nice.”
“Look, even Frey doesn’t like it. You need to take care of your image.”
This time, I decided to turn sideways and make fun of him, but Lisandro was still very much bewildered.
This was a good indication that my rehabilitation of him wasn’t in vain. Glancing at Frey, I whispered into Lisandro’s ear.
“Or is my dear younger brother afraid that you’ll lose me to Frey?”
“…Are you saying that only because you know everything already?”
I was celebrating inwardly.
He wasn’t worried about me snatching away Frey.
Rather, he was anxious that he’d lose his sister to Frey. This was a huge turnaround indeed.
I could fully understand the anxiety of losing someone as cute as me to Frey.
“What can you do? It’s all because I’m adorable.”
Excited by Lisandro’s pleasant change, my cheeks were flushed red.
“Noonim, do you need medicine?”
“Is it really me who needs medicine?”
Lisandro closed his mouth at once, then after a short moment, he said baack fiercely.
“That’s right. Noona is really very adorable. So please be careful,” Frey said.
“You don’t know what kind of vermin will hover around.”
Frey spoke with a bright smile, at which Lisandro’s eyebrows furrowed. I doubled back before the jealousy shot out to the max.
“Let’s make up and get some sweets. Oh, let’s eat separately. Definitely.”
I especially asked Lisandro to do it.
It was a good change, but I didn’t want to leave them alone together just yet.
When Lisandro was about to frown and retort, I pinched his nose and cut him off before he spoke.
“And you should wash up. Frey will go home after we eat our sweets.”
He left the library screaming and kicking up a fuss.
“He just needs to wash up but he’s being so noisy about it. Right?”
“Noona’s so cute that you don’t even have a clue.”
Frey smiled brightly and made me a bit guilty for the first time in a long while.
“Do you want to drop to the ground with your butt up?”
I meant that he should shut it before he’s punished, but Frey shrugged and smiled gently.
Lisandro was busy today. He was packing up this and that, but for some reason, he was putting more stuff into my bag.
“What are you doing? Just tell me if you wanna fight.”
When I snatched up my bag and warned him, Lisandro looked at me and took the bag again.
Maybe it’s because he’s been training his swordsmanship lately, but he easily snatched up the bag. Lisandro had a bag of his own, but he took mine instead.
“Hey hey, don’t put that in. It’s a book I haven’t read yet.”
It was a novel about a hero that was released recently. I bought it quickly because it was my favorite author’s new book, but Lisandro was after it.
“I told you not to put it in.”
Lisandro didn’t listen to me at all and put the book into the bag.
I couldn’t stand it and shouted, immediately reaching for his head.
“Do you wanna die, huh?!”
“Ack! Get off!”
“No! Don’t touch my stuff!”
Even though he tried hard not to retaliate against me, he didn’t stop blocking my way and shielding my stuff behind him, even with me clutching onto him in a headlock.
“Ah! Mom, Dad!”
“Tsk, don’t call Mom and Dad!”
“’Tsk’? Noonim did you just ‘tsk’ at me?”
I put more force on my arm that was around his neck.
“F-Frey…! Frey’s sick!”
This situation was more absurd for Lisandro as he shouted in an almost tearful voice.
“What does him being sick have anything to do with stealing my stuff?!”
If this was about me staring at Frey at the library, I can’t believe he’s doing this. It’s nice to bring with him a visiting gift, but I didn’t understand why he had to take other people’s things.
Lisandro was silent for a while, then murmured with a voice as small as an ant’s.
“B-Because Frey likes Noonim!”
My arm clenched tighter over Lisandro’s neck, and so his expression became even more pained.
“So he likes me, then why!”
At first glance, I knew that Frey liked me.
Not like that, but as a friend or older sister.
But that’s not how Lisandro heard my answer.
“Frey’s mine! Only I can have him!”
When his possessiveness of Frey resurfaced, even though it shouldn’t have anymore, I loosened my hold over his head.
I lost my strength.
Soon, I clenched my fist and looked at him with a cold expression.
I staggered back, and when he saw my face, he made a strange sound.
Lisandro grabbed my arm so I wouldn’t falter back any further from him.
“Frey isn’t your possession. Understand? Don’t talk about him like he’s an object.”
Lisandro looked at me calmly, mirroring the seriousness he had that day.
My disappointment was beyond words.
It seemed that this child only pretended to understand what I said back then, even after all those warnings and lectures.
“I’m disappointed, Lisandro. Was what I said to you in the library nothing but a dog’s barking to you?”
“Take my stuff. Do whatever you want.”
I left the room without looking back and slammed the door. Then, I hurriedly put my ear to the door.
I treated him coldly, but I was nervous about how he was going to react.
As I kept my ears close to the door and hoped he’d follow after me, I heard a voice from inside the room.
“…I know you’re out there.”
I flinched and backed away from the door.
He just started learning swordsmanship, but he could already feel other people’s presence?!
As I ran toward the end of the hallway as if I didn’t hear what he said, I heard the door burst open behind me.
Ah, I don’t know. I can’t hear you.
I ran without looking back.
But at that time, I was grabbed by the wrist so I had to stop against my will.
I looked behind me and saw Lisandro, who was holding onto my wrist with a grimace, not even winded from running.
“…I made a mistake. Please don’t be angry.”
I had to do my best not to let the corners of my lips twitch up.
“Do you know what you did wrong?”
“Noonim told me not to treat people like that, but I broke my promise and said that.”
Alright, you understand very well. I nodded with satisfaction.
“Lisandro, if you don’t understand what I’m saying and your head can’t keep up, just memorize it.”
“Yeah, memorize it by heart. Then you’ll remember not to do it.”
Lisandro then stuck out something to me, his hand clenching it with a grim face.
It was a pair of red gloves that I bought a while back.
“Can I give this to Frey?”
He wasn’t even worried if they would fit Frey or not.
Since he’s about the same size as me, there’s no way it wouldn’t fit him.
