She's The Older Sister Of The Yandere Male Lead In A BL Novel - Chapter 8
Lisandro’s young age also played a part in his obsessive tendencies.
His obsession was visible right now, but for Lisandro, Yurenia was still the priority. It was easier than he thought to give up Frey.
His sister, who openly detested his actions, hated causing harm to others and didn’t like seeing anyone forcing another person to do their bidding.
Yurenia was Lisandro’s world, and she had been playing and staying with him more often these days. Naturally, his possessiveness towards Frey slightly faded.
For a child like him, his twin sister was everything.
Frey picked up the red gloves and put them on his hands.
“What did Noona say to you?”
“Is it that she doesn’t want to bother me?”
A bright smile dazzled Lisandro’s eyes, and because of that, he flinched.
The moment he saw that smile, a stray thought passed through his mind without him realizing it—‘I want him.’
But not anymore.
In front of Yurenia, he pretended to know nothing and be innocent, but Lisandro truly knew what she was so worried about.
He also realized what kind of feelings he had for Frey.
Lisandro was confident that he would never love anyone for the rest of his life if Yurenia hated him for doing so.
His feelings for Frey were similar to the possessiveness of a child towards his favorite toy.
It was a toy that only he could want.
But Yurenia hated it to the point that it made her tremble.
For that reason alone, Lisandro’s older sister was so precious that he shot down what’s left of his desire for Frey in an instant.
Lisandro wanted his only sister, Yurenia, to always be happy.
If Yurenia couldn’t be happy because Lisandro liked Frey, then Lisandro was willing to abandon those feelings hundreds of times over.
He didn’t want to see Yurenia’s expression become distorted in such a way ever again.
But at the same time… He had no intention of letting Frey hang around his sister.
Being the person who had always been by his side, his sister was the most important person to Lisandro. His sister, who he thought was so cute and lovely, was more precious than anyone else in the world.
He intentionally talked about Frey and grated on Yurenia’s nerves because he liked how she focused only on him.
It was nice to hear her voice as she would berate him when she’s angry. That same voice had a unique tone to it that went up whenever she was excited.
And her smile was better than anything else.
Of course, his heart did not possess a love between a man and a woman.
What Lisandro felt for Yurenia was a filial love between family members, not between the opposite sex.
Lisandro just really, really liked his sister so very much.
It wasn’t wrong at all—it was an innocent, straightforward affection that would not bring suffering to anyone.
It was Yurenia who stood by Lisandro’s side to support him instead of their busy parents, who couldn’t do it even though it was their responsibility and not his sister’s.
On top of that, instead of unconditionally loving Yurenia even though he was wrong, she firmly scolded him and steered him towards the right path.
Lisandro’s life was centered around his sister Yurenia.
He liked his sister very much and couldn’t disobey her. That’s because he got frightened whenever she would be angry.
She often said strange things or played pranks, but whenever Lisandro made any big mistakes, she would have a stiff expression on her face without saying anything. That was what he was scared the most about.
There was one time when he threw his toys and went on a tantrum because their parents were too busy to make time for them again.
Whenever he thought of how Yurenia was at that time, he would still shiver and get goosebumps.
With cold silver-gray eyes, she stayed silent for a long while before she called Lisandro’s name with a low voice. He was terrified enough that he couldn’t dare look her in the eye.
With a no-nonsense look, it was a day dedicated to talking about his mistakes…
Just imagining it gave him goosebumps and made him tremble.
Lisandro listened to Yurenia well, but after that day, he listened to his sister to the point that he’d pretend to die for it.
After all, their parents weren’t bad parents at all. Yet instead of relying on their busy parents, Lisandro and Yurenia instead relied on each other.
Their connection was so tight that no one could interfere and create a gap between them.
Their connection was precious.
Lisandro felt a plethora of other things about Yurenia, even as she was upset while warning him about his feelings towards Frey.
He had also come to reflect on his twisted desires.
She was his one and only twin sister, and she took up a huge part of his life.
Lisandro didn’t want to be estranged from his sister because of Frey.
Frey smiled faintly at the red gloves that fit his hands perfectly.
“I want to be friends with you for a long time.”
When Lisandro uttered this under his own volition, Frey honestly admired it.
He didn’t expect Lisandro to say anything like that.
He was a child who paid attention to his sister and no one else, but Frey was a small exception.
Now that Lisandro’s feelings of liking him had disappeared, Lisandro seemed to think that Frey was instead a close friend who he didn’t want to lose.
Yurenia may not have known, but Frey felt exhausted whenever the three of them played together. Frey could feel the hints of Lisandro trying to take possession of him, just as he had seen in his dreams—as though those dreams were becoming reality.
But now, Frey kept being amazed day by day as Lisandro changed just by being beside Yurenia.
He couldn’t get used to it either.
He didn’t expect Lisandro to listen to Yurenia without rebelling.
“Me, too, Lisandro.”
It didn’t seem like Lisandro was so captivated by Frey’s bright smile anymore.
“Then leave Yuni alone.”
It seemed that his obsession had transferred to Yurenia.
Of course it was a muddy feeling. He was a younger brother who wanted to monopolize his sister’s affection because he liked her.
It was a pure love that was between twin siblings.
So Frey didn’t really feel jealous of it.
With an innocent look on his face, Frey asked.
“Lisandro, have I ever touched Noona?”
Lisandro didn’t answer. He didn’t know why, but he felt like he shouldn’t treat the other harshly.
Just as Frey said, they were together often, but Frey never really did anything to his sister.
It was only Lisandro’s gut that was warning him. It didn’t seem like Frey had shallow feelings that would abate over time.
“Anyway, I forbid you from liking Yuni.”
Frey burst into a peal of laughter, then he took off the gloves.
“If Noona is that cute and lovely, isn’t it natural to like her?”
“…Watch what you’re saying about Noonim.”
In the end, he couldn’t argue with what Frey said.
“Lisandro, we’re still young. I don’t know what you’re worried about, but I want to get along with both you and Noona.”
“You’ve got that other guy—the one you hung around more when you were younger. What’s his name? Blizzard?”
A strange name popped out of Lisandro’s lips. He was someone who wouldn’t remember anything that wasn’t related to his sister.
But Frey could guess who he was talking about.
It was hard to say that he was a close friend because these days, Frey tended to forget everything else and just enjoyed his time with Yurenia.
“He’s a friend, and you’re also a friend.”
Frey crinkled his eyes and smiled broadly, trying to hide a deeper expression.
Frey’s gentle words made Lisandro frown. He was confused as to whether he meant it or not.
He remembered how Frey was deeply hurt because his friend that he liked just suddenly left his side.
That person had always been cold to Frey.
But these days, thanks to Yurenia, Lisandro felt a bit closer to Frey now, but that was all.
He still wanted to be friends with Frey with all his heart, but it’s hard to let go of his unease around the guy, seeing as he couldn’t understand Frey at all nowadays.
Frey, noticing Lisandro’s lingering gaze, spoke with a sincere voice.
“I mean it. Believe me. Still, I’m a little sad that Noona didn’t come to visit me.”
Frey’s eyes drooped slightly, and Lisandro only stared without saying anything.
He still couldn’t forget the nightmares he had, so his eyes shook with anxiety. Yet, it was a look that he couldn’t afford to show.
Lisandro couldn’t figure out what Frey was thinking, but like the usual, he shrugged as though nothing had happened.
“Noonim is busy today.”
“I’ll go to Barry’s Bakery to wait in line. There’s a limited edition dessert out right now.”
But under his breath, he murmured, ‘Well, I don’t really have to wait in line myself because I can just send a servant.’
When Lisandro imagined Yurenia’s smile as she would think that he had waited in line for that, he gave Frey a wide smile without meaning to.
“Lisandro. Why are you confusing me?”
What I saw in the library made me even more nervous just thinking about him being more obsessed with Frey.
Lisandro said he was going to visit him today, even shouting ‘Frey is mine!’
Honestly, it was frightening to see a change in attitude like that before I could even relax
And really, the urge to punch him is just…
“Are you alright, Milady?”
Uta worriedly asked me as I bit my nails incessantly.
I lowered my hand and looked up at Uta, who handed her a dessert box.
“…Let’s go to Eckhart.”
I need to see how they’re doing.
I was guided by a maid in the Eckhart estate, then just said this as I walked into Frey’s room.
I didn’t feel worried at all when I peeked at them.
Rather, both Frey and Lisandro’s expressions brightened as soon as they saw me.
“Oh, oh! Sit back down!”
In a hurry, I went to Frey’s bedside and kept him down. Then, my nose twitched.
There was a faint scent of soap coming from him.
I was slightly worried that Lisandro might go crazy because of his delicate appearance and alluring soap scent.
But he was looking at me instead with sparkling eyes.
And I found my stuff all over the bed.
I glared at Lisandro just then, who quickly averted his gaze.
“Noona, thank you for the gifts!”
“…But I already used these.”
Lisandro coughed in vain, perhaps because my tone was pointed at him. I didn’t hate it that much, so I let it slip.
I just decided to forgive him because I didn’t want the items to go back to me when I’d already been robbed.
“Noona, I thought you wouldn’t come, but thank you for coming to see me!”
Frey smiled shyly.
On the other hand, Lisandro’s expression became so distorted that it looked like he drank some bitter medicine.
Pretending not to see Lisandro’s nasty crushed can impersonation, I smiled at Frey and carefully looked around the room.
It was my first time seeing Frey’s room, or his family’s mansion for that matter, because it was him who always came over to our estate.
Unlike our palatial estate, this was a simple and neat mansion.
Eckhart was one of the prominent noble families in the territory of Rogelio. There was no one comparable to the Rohelio family, but Eckhart was still one that couldn’t be ignored.
Such a family was meant to fall apart because of one such Rogelio.
Under the hands of Lisandro, to be more exact.
